NTN will design and manufacture a variety of powdered metal components, from oil impregnated bearings (bore size 0.5 to 60 mm), to variable valve timing apex seals, to custom designed gears for starter motors, wiper motors and oil pumps.

NTN’s self-lubricating, high-graphite bearings are a low cost alternative to carbon bearings used in applications where oil can’t be used, such as fuel pumps or EGR valves. These durable components are engineered to last.

NTN’s BEARPHITE CL (copper layer) bearing is a cost-effective solution that ensures low friction and wear characteristics for excellent performance in starter motor, seat adjustor and electric power steering applications.
NTN has employed its unique technology to develop the innovative NTN BEARPHITE series of products. BEARPHITE bearings are designed to accommodate increasingly stringent market needs. NTN’s oil impregnated bearings can be custom formulated to meet a wide variety of challenging environmental conditions. NTN has also developed high strength, high density sintered metal products approaching the same fatigue strength capabilities as medium carbon steel.
